Apply clear waterproof makeup remover or a white cream based makeup remover to the stain and let it sit for 10 minutes. Another option is to use a dishwashing soap and water solution to treat the paint stain. Afterwards sponge with water if on carpet or wash at as high a temperature as the fabric allows. The next step is to collect the items that you are going to need.

You need to collect two white wash rags and some cleaner that you know works on your carpet.
