He then takes his circular saw and cuts the jig off following the guide rails. It is not easy. Reposition the circular saw blade with the mark on the opposite side of the post. Im going to show you a quick and easy trick.

Trying to get a square cut on the top of a fence post or deck post can be a difficult job. Have you ever tried removing a fence post that is cemented in. In building new fences decks just set posts then snap a line from end post to end post across all posts to be cut with a caulk line attach saw guide and make the cuts. The saw guide provides cutting from 0 to 45 degrees on 4x4 posts depending on what angle is chosen on level or sloped grounds.

The four sides of the box meet in the same plane at the top where they are secured with screws. This simple fixture helps you cut 6x6 post quickly and square with a reciprocating saw.
